Our Mission
We don’t build the most boats on the market, but the ones we do make are built to a very high standard with superior quality, performance and handling. Our boats are made to stand the test of time and will become a part of your family for years to come.
Huntsman Boats was founded by Geoff and Toni Robinson in 1992 and has been proudly New Zealand made ever since. Huntsman initially produced the legendary Stingray Ski boats and offered specialised fibreglass repairs, then moved to a range of early boats including the 525 Executive, 525 Sport and La Plata. These boats proved to be extremely popular and Huntsman soon moved to full time production of fibreglass powerboats.
The 525 Executive and Sport models paved the way for other hull designs we have developed over the years. The range has now progressed to a full suite of boats , ranging in size from 5 to 7.5 metres in length and catering to a wide range of boating enthusiasts. Our boats continue to exceed expectations with their superior handling, exceptional performance and outstanding design detail.
In addition to our boats, Huntsman Commercial was created in 2012 to produce a wide range of quality commercial fibreglass products. Huntsman Commercial caters to a wide range of fibreglassing needs including automotive parts, architectural designed parts for the building and signage industries, and equestrian and farming products. Our Assurance to You
Huntsman Boats stand behind the manufacturing quality and structural integrity of our boat hulls. We aim to build boats that are safe and buoyant, made to stand the test of time and keep you and your family safe. If an issue does arise, we will aim to work with the customer to remedy the issue as soon as we can, to our usual high standard.
Your Huntsman is built in accordance with the New Zealand Boat Building Compliance Code (CPC). Huntsman Boats comply with the warranty requirements within that programme.
